Recruitment

Phi Kappa Theta fraternity at the University of Missouri values five attributes in considering prospective associate members:

  1. Character
  2. Academic Achievement
  3. Leadership
  4. Athletic Achievement
  5. Service to Others

Ideal prospective members are well-rounded young men who have demonstrated strength and achievement in all of these attributes.

Another service Phi Kappa Theta provides is annual early Spring visits to select Missouri High Schools conducting a joint Alumni and Chapter presentation of "Surviving Mizzou". Surviving Mizzou is a 45 minute session reviewing the key disciplines and issues an incoming Freshman must understand and apply to successfully complete the Mizzou experience. Time management, clubs and activities, guidance counselors and study sessions are just a few of the topics discussed. Surviving Mizzou is greatly valued by the High School college placement advisors.
